We’re excited to introduce the new and improved Data Explorer — your go-to tool for visualizing raw sensor data and KPIs from your energy storage systems. This upgraded module brings a faster, more intuitive interface and powerful new features to help you dive deeper into your data with ease.

TWAICE Data Explorer helps you with:

  • Time-Series Visualization: Plot and analyze sensor signals (e.g., voltage, current, temperature, SoC) over time.

  • Sensor Selection & Filtering: Choose specific components (e.g., cells, modules, racks) and signals to analyze.

  • Data Quality Monitoring: Spot irregularities or gaps in the data and validate sensor performance or data consistency.

  • Comparison Across Components: Compare values across multiple components (e.g., modules in a rack) to detect imbalances or outliers.

  • Support for Multiple Resolutions: Access data at different granularities (e.g., 1s, 30s, 5min) depending on availability.

What’s New in This Release?

Here’s what you can look forward to in the new Data Explorer:

Redesigned UI for Better Usability

We’ve overhauled the user interface to make your data exploration experience cleaner, faster, and more intuitive.

New Component & Sensor Selector

The new hierarchical tree structure lets you discover and select components, subcomponents and sensors easily.

Multi-Component Selection

Now you can select multiple components from different parents at once for comparison or for broader system-level views. Earlier at a single point in time, users could select subcomponents from only a single parent which was tedious and lead to errors in selecting the desired components and sensors.

Show/Hide Component Selector

You can now toggle the component selector panel on or off depending on what you need to focus on, which lets you have more space to view the graphs.

One-Click Sub-Component Selection

We’ve made it simple to select all the subcomponents with a single click, thanks to the new hamburger menu which becomes visible once you hover the cursor on any component. Users no longer need to select multiple components one by one.

Smarter Time Resolution Based on Selected Time Range

To make exploring data more seamless and intuitive, we’ve improved how time resolutions are handled in the Data Explorer.

Here are the available higher time resolutions for selected time ranges — ensuring fast loading and meaningful visualizations.

  • 1s + raw resolution for up to 24hours

  • 30s resolution for up to 7days

  • 1min resolution for up to 14days

  • 15min resolution for up to 30days

  • 1hour resolution for up to 3 months

  • 6h resolution for up to 1 year

  • 12h resolution for up to 3 years

✅ This update ensures charts remain performant and easy to interpret — even across large time spans.

Upgraded Graphs with new library

Our new graphing engine brings a more consistent experience across the platform, with smoother zooming, cleaner tooltips, and better readability. The graphs get highlighted for better readability when you hover the mouse on any single line and now the users can also see all the values from different sensors in a single tooltip for easier comparisons.
